Section 1
Introduction & Scope
This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs all purchases made on SecureIAM Guides ("Platform") and applies to all digital PDF products offered for sale. This Policy is published in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable laws of India.
By completing a purchase on this Platform, you ("Customer" or "Buyer") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy in their entirety.

Nature of Digital Products — Why Refunds Are Limited
Our Platform exclusively sells digital products in PDF format. Unlike physical goods, digital files:
- Are delivered instantly upon successful payment confirmation
- Cannot be physically "returned" once accessed or downloaded
- Retain no condition degradation — the product delivered is identical for every buyer
- Are not perishable but are susceptible to immediate and irreversible use upon receipt
In recognition of these characteristics, Indian consumer protection law permits sellers of digital goods to maintain a limited refund policy, provided the same is clearly disclosed prior to purchase. This Policy constitutes such disclosure.

General Refund Policy — No Refunds After Download
Effective immediately upon download or access of any digital PDF product purchased on this Platform, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds, exchanges, or credits will be issued once the product has been accessed or downloaded by the Customer.

Eligible Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Granted
Notwithstanding the general no-refund rule, refunds will be considered ONLY under the following strictly defined circumstances:
4.1 Duplicate / Double Payment
If the Customer is charged more than once for the same order due to a technical error on the Platform or payment gateway, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full within 7 business days of verification.
4.2 Technical Delivery Failure
If the Customer is unable to access or download the purchased PDF due to a verified technical error on our Platform — and is not able to access the product within 48 hours of purchase despite reasonable attempts — a full refund will be issued upon verification.
⚠️ Note: Technical issues on the Customer's device, internet connection, PDF reader software, or third-party platforms are not grounds for a refund.
4.3 Significantly Not as Described
If the product delivered is materially and substantially different from its description on the product page — for example, incorrect subject matter, wrong language, or a corrupted/blank file — a refund or product replacement will be offered at our discretion, subject to investigation.
4.4 Unauthorized Transaction
If a purchase was made without the account holder's knowledge or consent, a refund request must be raised within 24 hours of the transaction. Supporting evidence (e.g., bank communication, OTP non-receipt) must be provided for investigation.

Refund Request Procedure
Customers wishing to raise a refund request under an eligible exception must follow the procedure outlined below:
Email us with subject: "REFUND REQUEST — [Order ID]"
Send your request to support@secureiam.in with the correct subject line for faster processing.
Include full details
Provide your full name, Order ID / Transaction ID, date of purchase, and the reason for your refund request.
Attach supporting evidence
Include screenshots of the error, payment receipt, bank statement, or any other relevant documentation.
Await acknowledgment
Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days of receipt.
Verification & decision
Upon investigation, our decision will be communicated within 7 business days of acknowledgment.
Refund credited
Approved refunds will be credited within 5–10 business days to the original payment method used at checkout.

Cancellation Policy
Since digital PDF products are delivered immediately upon payment confirmation, cancellations cannot be processed once the order has been fulfilled.
If you wish to cancel before payment confirmation is complete, you may abandon the checkout process. However, once the payment gateway confirms receipt of funds and the download link is generated, the transaction is complete and this Policy's refund terms apply.

Chargeback & Payment Disputes
Filing a chargeback through your bank or payment provider without first attempting to resolve the issue through our refund process is considered a breach of this Policy. We reserve the right to:
- Contest any chargeback filed in respect of a legitimate digital product delivery
- Terminate the Customer's access to the Platform permanently
- Blacklist the associated payment method and email address from future purchases
- Pursue recovery of costs incurred due to unjustified chargebacks as permissible under applicable law
We comply fully with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines on payment disputes and cooperate with payment processors and banks to resolve legitimate disputes fairly and transparently.

Applicable Indian Laws & Consumer Rights
This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the following Indian legislation:
Consumer Protection Act, 2019
Governs consumer rights, unfair trade practices, and e-commerce dispute resolution in India. Customers retain the right to approach consumer courts / National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) for genuine grievances.
Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
Mandates clear disclosure of refund, return, and cancellation policy on all e-commerce platforms operating in India. This Policy fulfills that obligation.
Information Technology Act, 2000
Governs electronic contracts, digital signatures, and online transactions. Purchases made on this Platform constitute a valid electronic contract under Section 10A of this Act.
Indian Contract Act, 1872
All purchase transactions constitute a valid contract upon offer (purchase), acceptance (payment confirmation), and consideration (delivery of PDF).
Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007
Governs all payment transactions processed through RBI-regulated payment gateways. Customers are entitled to dispute resolution mechanisms provided under this Act.

Section 11
Intellectual Property & License Restrictions
All digital PDF products sold on this Platform are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India) and applicable international copyright treaties. Purchase of a digital PDF product grants the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal license to:
- Download and store one personal copy of the PDF
- View the content for personal, non-commercial use only
The Customer is expressly prohibited from:
- Reproducing, copying, or distributing the PDF in whole or in part
- Reselling, sub-licensing, or commercially exploiting the content
- Uploading the file to any public platform, sharing service, or torrent site
- Removing or altering any copyright notices, watermarks, or branding

Taxes & Currency
All prices displayed on this Platform are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise. Prices are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) where required under the CGST Act, 2017 and IGST Act, 2017.
International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, local taxes, or foreign transaction fees charged by their bank.
Section 13
Amendments to This Policy
We reserve the right to amend, update, or replace this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The revised Policy will be effective from the date of publication on the Platform. Customers are advised to review this Policy periodically.
Continued Use = Acceptance
Section 14
Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Policy shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute remains unresolved within 30 days, it shall be referred to mediation or consumer dispute resolution as provided under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Subject to the above, the courts of Hyderabad, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under this Policy.
